PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thick-walled molded article free from distortion, excellent in mechanical strength, and having no voids in the mass, and to provide a method for molding the same. SOLUTION: This thick-walled molded article is obtained by mixing metathesis reactive monomer components, then pouring the mixed material into a mold tool to carry out polymerization and crosslinking reaction, wherein the molded article is maintained in the mold tool for a specified period or longer at a temperature within a specified range, after the reaction is completed. |
