PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the oscillation of a food slicer due to reciprocating movement of a supply unit. SOLUTION: In a food slicer in which a rotating round edge and a supply unit for supplying food are provided, the supply unit is connected to a supply unit reciprocating driving mechanism including a crank mechanism by making it possible to move the supply unit forward/backward between a forward movement end which faces the round edge and a backward movement end which does not face the round edge, food set on the supply unit is supplied by cut thickness when the supply unit moves backward and returns to the forward movement end and a tip of food projected to the tip of the supply device is cut with the rotating round edge when the supply unit moves forward and reaches a forward movement end, a supply unit reciprocating driving device for limiting only the vicinity of a point of time when the supply unit moving forward becomes maximum speed V2 when a crankshaft of the crank mechanism is rotated at fixed speed, decelerating rotational speed of the crankshaft and lowering maximum speed while the supply unit moves forward is provided.
