PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for a kitchen which can be fitted even if the strength of a modesty panel is not enough or there is no modesty panel itself. SOLUTION: The auxiliary tool 9 for a kitchen is provided with a support bar 11 disposed in this side of a sink 5 and a nearly U-shaped hooking part 13 striding over the upper edge 5a of the sink 5. One end part 13a of the hooking part 13 is positioned on the inside face 5b of the sink 5 and the other end 13b is positioned on the outside face 5c of the sink 5 to be hooked on the upper edge 5a of the sink 5.
