PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus which forms a thin resin coating layer on the surface of a substrate sheet, sheet-by-sheet, and to provide a method for producing a sheet having a thin resin layer by using the apparatus, sheet-by- sheet. SOLUTION: This coating apparatus of a sheet-by-sheet type mainly comprises (A) a coating member 1 which has a box-shape container 4 having a narrow- band-shape opening 8 formed at its under side, a coating-liquid-impregnable material 5 contained in the container and arranged so as to protrude from the opening, and a coating liquid supply mechanism 6 installed on the upper side of the container and (B) a substrate-sheet-fixing member 2 having substrate sheets 3 to be coated placed and fixed on an upper face 7 thereof and which transports the substrate sheets to just under the coating member 1. In this method for producing a sheet having a thin resin layer, a resin coating layer with a thickness of 5-50 μm is formed at least a part pf the substrate of sheet to be coated, sheet-by-sheet. |
