PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high quality and high resolution image which shows high long term preservability and the ability to diminish the change of an image with time, even when an ink ribbon containing an indoaniline cyan dye is used. SOLUTION: This sheet to which an image is thermally transferred is composed of a base material and a dye receiving layer formed on the base material. In addition, the sheet is characterized in that the dye receiving layer is based on an acrylic resin as a main constituent and the acid value is 2.0 mgKOH/g or less.
