PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR device to satisfactorily circulate exhaust gas from the exhaust side toward the intake side, even in a high load region where a supercharge pressure by a turbocharger is increased to a value higher than the exhaust pressure. SOLUTION: In this EGR device formed, such that a part of exhaust gas 8 is bled through the exhaust manifold 9 of an engine 1 provided with a turbocharger 2 and recalculated to an intake pipe 4, an exhaust manifold 9 is situated is divided into a submanifold 9a for exclusive use for EGR and a main manifold 9b, forming most part of the rest of the exhaust manifold 9 by situating a partition part 14 in a proper position in the alignment direction of cylinders 7. The partition part 14 is provided with an on/off valve 15 serving as a communication means to properly release the sobmanifold 9a to the main manifold 9b, and the submanifold 9a and the intake pipe 4 are interconnected through an EGR pipe 11 having an EGR valve 12. |
