METHOD FOR ASSAYING ENDOCRINE DISRUPTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selectively and sensitively assaying endocrine disruptors(EDC)s. SOLUTION: This is a method for assaying EDCs using mRNA of a gene whose expression is induced by the action of EDCs as an index. The nature that mRNA can be amplified allows sensitively assaying EDCs even at a low concentration which can not be determined by the conventional method. In addition, specific assay might be possible if a marker gene specific to a hormone-like activity is used.
