PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a repeating cycle of a driving signal while preventing thickening of a liquid in the vicinity of a nozzle opening. SOLUTION: A driving signal generating circuit generates a series of driving signals COM including a first pulse 71, a fourth pulse 74 and a seventh pulse 77 as a plurality of ejection driving pulse signals, a second pulse 72 as a micro- vibration expansion wave form, and a sixth pulse 76 as a micro-vibration shrinkage wave form. In the driving signals COM, the fourth pulse 74 is provided between the second pulse 72 and the sixth pulse 76. In the case of micro- vibrating a meniscus, the second pulse 72 and the sixth pulse 76 are applied selectively on a piezoelectric vibrator. |
