PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core base implement for binding hair capable of fixing a core base by an easy operation in the case of forming a binding hairstyle. SOLUTION: This core base implement 1 for binding hair is constituted of a core base 2 to be used at the time of forming a binding hairstyle and a fastening device 5 for fixing the core base 2 to hair. The core base 2 is formed into a tubular body 3 made of a synthetic resin foamed material provided with such wall thickness and strength that a hairpin for fastening hair is easily inserted and removed and that hair is fastened by the insertion of the hairpin and comprises a slit 4 formed in the thick wall part T of the tubular body 3 from one end surface 3a to the other end surface 3b. The fastening device 5 is provided with an insertion supporting part 6 to be inserted into the core base 2, an insertion fixing part 7 to be arranged below the insertion supporting part 6 at a distance and inserted into the roots of bound hair, and a supporting frame 8 to support the insertion supporting part 6 and the insertion fixing part 7.
