PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise handleability of an electrically-driven fishing reel so as to quickly deal with a bite. SOLUTION: This electrically-driven fishing reel is equipped with a spool, a manual handle, a motor and a clutch mechanism for disconnecting a driving connection of the manual handle to the motor and the spool and making the spool freely rotatable. The reel is equipped with a motor output adjustment body attached to a reel main body so as to displace the body by operation, a motor output adjustment means for continuously increasing a motor output from a low speed to a high speed by a displacement operation of the motor output adjustment body in one direction and continuously decreasing the motor output from the high speed to the low speed by a displacement operation in the reverse direction and an on/off switch for interrupting the motor output. The motor is stopped by an on/off switch operation in driving the motor and the spool drive motor is driven under a motor output condition at the displacement position of the motor output adjustment body by an on/off switch operation in suspension of the motor.
