PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate not only the deterioration of cleaning performance caused by detergent being enclosed with clothes or firmly stuck thereto and left without dissolving but also the trouble of rewashing because of the detergent being left after the end of washing to improve the convenience and to shorten the time, so that energy can be saved by putting a powdery detergent between a shinning tub and a water receiving tank in a washing machine having a powdery detergent input port for putting the powdery detergent to the spinning tub. SOLUTION: Agitating vanes 2 are rotatably arranged on the bottom of a spinning tub 1 rotatably arranged within a water receiving tank 18, the upper part of the water receiving tank 18 is covered with a water receiving tank cover 16, and the water receiving tank 18 is supported on a hull 6 with vibration isolation. A hull cover 15 is provided on the upper part of the hull 6 so as to cover the water receiving tank 18, and a powdery detergent input port 17 for inputting a powdery detergent is provided on the hull cover 15, and a powdery detergent input cylinder 19 is provided on the water receiving tank 18.
