PURPOSE: A linear compressor is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by not using a special closed container outside a compressor unit, reduce the overall size of the compressor, improve radiating effect, and improve compressing efficiency by preventing temperature rise of suction gas before compressing. CONSTITUTION: A linear compressor includes a tubular type case(110); a cylinder(130) forming an oil inflow path(131) and an oil outflow path(132); a piston(140) sucking, compressing, and discharging fluids coming in through a suction pipe; a discharge valve assembly controlling discharge of compressed fluids; closed circuit type oil circulation pipes(300) circulating and supplying oil to a through hole formed outside the cylinder continuously; and an oil feeder(400) pumping oil in the oil circulation pipe by an aftershock caused by reciprocation of the piston. The cylinder is coupled with the inside of the case. The piston is coupled with the through hole of the cylinder. The discharge valve assembly is installed on the front-end surface of the cylinder. The oil circulation pipe is coupled with the inlet end of the inflow path and the outlet end of the outflow path. The oil feeder is coupled with the middle part of the oil circulation pipe.
