PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a lid locking mechanism on a front part of a lidded container. SOLUTION: In a container wherein a rear of a container body 1 and a rear of a lid 4 are closed with ease by an undulating portion of the lid while a hook 7 hanging from a front of the lid is engaged with a lower surface of an engaging protrusion 6 on a front of a container body, a lateral hole 8 which opens on a front is bored on a front wall of the container body. A box-shaped portion 15 of a pushbutton 9 is fitted into a front of the lateral hole so that it cannot be drawn out forward while a front face of the box-shaped portion and front faces of the container body and the lid are leveled. In addition, a screw cap 21 is screwed with an external thread rod 18 which protrudes from the box-shaped portion, an upper face front rim of a through hole 16 bored on a rear wall of the box-shaped portion is formed to be the engaging protrusion 6, it is passed through an entrance 12 bored on an upper wall portion of the lateral hole, and the hanging hook 7 is engaged with the protrusion 6. |
