SAFETY DEVICE STORED IN AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device compact, lightweight and allowed to use powder of high efficiency. SOLUTION: This safety device stored in an automobile is provided with an impermeable expandable metal bag 5 fixed to a support member, powder 6 and an ignition device 3 connected to an electric current source. The bag comprises a first metal sheet 20 having a center orifice, an intermediate fixed area fitted to the support member, and a peripheral fixed area 24; and a second metal sheet 21 of solid dome shape having a peripheral fixed area 25. These metal sheets are fixed at the peripheral fixed areas. The powder is stored in the bag.
