<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and highly accurately adjust registration in a horizontal scanning direction without a mechanism adjustment when an apparatus is set, components are replaced, etc. SOLUTION: When a control panel is manipulated to set a shift amount and a TEST button is depressed, a light-emitting point corresponding to the set shift amount among light-emitting points of light-emitting arrays 101a-101d is turned on and a test pattern is formed. The set shift amount is stored in a nonvolatile memory 10. Driving the light-emitting arrays 101a-101d based on the shift amount stored in the nonvolatile memory 10 is started from the light-emitting point shifted by the shift amount stored in the nonvolatile memory 10 and terminated at the light-emitting point of a predetermined number.</p> |
