PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam synthetic resin packaging material having sufficient strength or heat insulating characteristic at the time of its transportation, easily broken when the material is disposed of as a waste product and capable of reducing its volume. SOLUTION: A foam synthetic resin packaging material is provided with a thick foam synthetic resin a wall and non-cut segment is left at a part in a height direction to cut a corner part of the packaging material in such a way that at least one location of a side wall and a packaging material corner segment connected with the side wall may have a wall thickness in bisection line direction.
