<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket for orthodontics which can smoothly achieve an orthodontic operation without needing any troublesome binding operation, and surely fix a correction wire in a lot by pressing it with an appropriate elastic force. SOLUTION: This bracket comprises a bracket body 1 and a pressing spring 20, the bracket body 1 is provided with fitting bodies 4 and 5 facing each other with a slot 3 therebetween on a base 2 with predetermined spaces, and shaft holes 9 and 10 are provided in a body base part. The pressing spring 20 is of the length stretching over both slots in a center portion of the wire, both ends thereof are bent in the same direction, pressing parts 21 and 21 stretching over both slots are provided, erection parts 22 and 22 erected along the outside of the slots are formed on tips of the pressing parts, pivotably supporting parts 24 and 24 passing through the shaft holes are formed in the tips of the erection parts, and locking parts 25 and 25 are bent along the base within the space at the tip of the pivotably supporting parts.</p> |
