PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-purity silk peptide from a neutral salt dissolved material of silk fibroin by gel filtration chromatography in a high yield. SOLUTION: This method for producing the high-purity silk peptide is a method for producing the silk peptide from the silk fibroin. In order to remove salt from the neutral salt dissolved material of the silk fibroin, the dissolved material is passed through a gel filtration chromatography apparatus packed with a medium having 1-150μm bead size.
