PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a tip of a finger or the like from touching on the end side of a needle when not in use to improve safety and easily carrying out the drawing-out work. SOLUTION: A thumbtack 10 is constituted of a needle 12, a needle holding section 13 of almost columnar shape to be fixed on the opposite side of the end of the needle 12, a main body section 14 of almost cylindrical shape for storing the needle 12 and the needle holding section 13 inside and a cap member 15 rotatably and relatively installed on the main body section 14. A male screw 17 is provided on the outer periphery 13A of the needle holding section 13, while a female screw 21 is provided on the inner peripheral face 19A of an inner space 19 of the main body section 14, and the needle 12 can be moved forward and backward correspondingly to the rotating amount of the main body section 14 by the engagement of respective screws 17 and 21 together.
