PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip installer, with which assembling easiness and avoidance of the cause of trouble can be contrived, by a method wherein supporting states of biforkedly branched springs are stabilized. SOLUTION: An inserting port of paper sheets is provided on the tip side of a main body case 16. In the inserting port, a pair of the biforkedly branched springs 23, which expands a distance between the pinching piece parts of a clip during the state that the clip is guided, are arranged. The respective biforkedly branched springs are supported by a pair of supporting bodies 70 and 70. Between the supporting bodies and the main body case 16, ordinarily a plate spring member 63, which keeps the supporting bodies at the closest position, is arranged. In the main body case, a holder member 17 equipped with passages 105 to 107, through which a large, a medium and a small sized clips are passably housed, is arranged. An actuating mechanism is provided between the tip side of the holder member and the supporting bodies. By rotating the holder member, through the actuating mechanism, the relative positions of the respective supporting bodies are adjusted so as to correspond to the relative separating distance between the biforkedly branched springs with the lateral width sizes of the clips.
