PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable cutting device with a dust collecting function which enables its height to be adjusted and can be easily moved without fear that cuttings leaking from a dust collecting duct might be scattered. SOLUTION: A rotary cutter 3 is housed in a box 21 so that cuttings leaking from a dust collecting duct are held inside the box 21 and are not scattered to the outside during working. The height of the device can be adjusted to an operator by attacking a height adjusting box 22. Further, the device can be easily moved by mounting the boxes 21, 22 on a mobile table 4.
