PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety protector for protecting a hand for grasp in cutting vegetables or meat with a kitchen knife, an edged tool, or the like. SOLUTION: One side a plate is held by a hand, and a kitchen knife is mounted parallel on the other and vertically moved. Since a wall is present between the kitchen knife and the hand, it enables the user to make safe use of the kitchen knife even if unexperieced in or poor at using a kitchen knife.
