PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of easily confirming the content of a manual, solving an unclear point in operation without any trouble, and easily selecting a proper course of washing. SOLUTION: In this washing machine, an operation display part 6 having a switch part 22 for performing the set and operation of washing stroke, a display part 34 for displaying the operation state, and an announcement part 24 for giving an announcement is provided on a control part. When the setting operation, changing operation, operation content confirming operation, or the like, of the switch part 22 is performed, the set content, operation content, or the like, is displayed on the numerical display device 34 of the operation display part 6, the number of the related page of a manual corresponding to the setting operation, operation content, or the like, is displayed also thereon by a character P and the page number value alternately or only for a fixed time, and the page number of the related page is further announced by voice in the announcement part 24. When a '?' button 33 is operated, the page number of the related page of the manual is also displayed on the numerical display device 34.
