DISPLAY ELEMENT USING MICRO OPTICAL MODULATOR

PURPOSE: A display element using a micro optical modulator is provided to apply a display element to various display apparatuses by displaying a picture with opening and shutting light generated from a backlight. CONSTITUTION: Fixed members(12) have stripe shapes and are arrayed with being separated from adjacent members(12) as an appointed interval. Operating members(11) overlap axis of fixed members(12) vertically. Middle parts of operating members(11) form a plane and float from a panel(13) as an appointed height. Both ending parts of operating members(11) curve to the panel(13) and are fixed on the panel(13). Fixed members and operating members are controlled by an electric signal and open or shut an optical route with an electrostatic power to interact in accordance with a display state and a non-display state.
