PURPOSE: A tool holder for a breaker is provided to reduce the noise generated during percussion, to guide a chisel exactly and to returns the chisel to the original place automatically. CONSTITUTION: In a front head(20), the inside-diameter-part is formed downward. A chisel bush(26) is inserted in the upper end of the inside-diameter-part of the front head, and guides a chisel up and down. A cylindrical front-bush(28) is inserted in the lower end of the inside-diameter-part, and guides the chisel up and down with the chisel bush. The cylindrical front-bush also limits the downward move of the chisel. The chisel has a tapered part(22b) within a percussion range. A cylindrical stopper bush(34) is made of rubber, and installed between the chisel bush and the front bush. The stopper bush is tapered to correspond to the tapered part.
