FRAME STRUCTURE OF MOTOR HAVING VENTILATING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A frame structure of a motor having a ventilating structure is provided to improve the cooling effect by enlarging the cooling area when the air is passed by the rotation of a ventilating fan. CONSTITUTION: A rotor(2) is supported and rotated by a shaft(1). A stator(3) is disposed so as to be opposite to the rotor(2). A frame(4) presses and supports the stator(3). A front bracket(5) is engaged with the front surface of the front end piece(4), and an air introducing opening for inhaling the exterior air is formed in the front bracket(5). A rear bracket(6) is engaged with the rear surface of the frame(4), and an air discharging opening(6A) for discharging the exterior air is formed in the rear bracket(6). A ventilating fan(7) is rotated so that the inhaled air is passed through the motor. A plurality of recesses are formed at the inner periphery of the frame(4). A ventilating passage(8) is formed between the frame(4) and the stator(3) in the axial direction.
