PURPOSE: A device for measuring temperature and a method for compensating sensitivity using a bolometer type infrared ray sensor are provided to compensate deviation of sensors and offset of an amplifier. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring temperature using a bolometer type infrared ray sensor includes a standard voltage supply part outputting standard voltage, a sensing part(2) sensing an infrared ray amount and outputting the sensed voltage, an amplifying part(4) amplifying and outputting a difference between standard voltage and the sensed voltage, a temperature board driving part(6) moving a low temperature board and a high temperature board in a position which can be detected by the sensing part, and a micom(5). The micom controls the temperature board driving part, obtains output signal and amplified gain of the amplifying part when the temperature is high and normal, compares the output signal and amplified gain with previously stored values, and compensates amplified gain and offset of the amplifying part to measure the infrared ray amount and temperature.
