PURPOSE: An earthy material removing gate of a river drainage gate is provided to remove deposits effectively with low expenses or to restrain not to be accumulated without earthy materials removal equipment and manpower. CONSTITUTION: An earthy material removing gate comprise many drainage holes(2) arranged in a line on a river drainage gate(1), a gate(3) installed to each drainage hole, many nozzles(4) attached to the lower end of the gate, wherein the nozzles are arranged to be inclined to the concentrate streams of water to the drainage way side, or to spout the streams of water radially to widen a spouting direction. At a low tide, if the pressure of seawater is dropped below the water pressure of rivers, an upward nozzle(4a) spouts out the high-pressure streams even though the gate is not opened yet. Subsequently, if the seawater surface becomes lower, a downward nozzle(4b) spouts out the streams in that way, and the streams of water become weaker gradually since the gate is opened and drains in earnest.
