PURPOSE: A controller is simple in its composition and resistant against noise as control signal is transmitted through electric power resource line. CONSTITUTION: A controller comprises a main control board(40) and an auxiliary control board(50). The main control board controls the progress of stroke of a washing machine and changes phase angle of electric power so that a motor(31) is driven correspondingly with the progress of the stroke. The auxiliary is impressed with the electric power of the main control board(40) and detects the phase angle of the electric power to calculate the frequency of the electric power and refers to the preset electric power frequency/RPM pattern table to drive the motor(31) by the RPM pattern appropriate to the frequency of the electric power. |
