PURPOSE: A system and a method for managing a site on the internet using a document editing system is provided for a client to offer and change all sorts of information quickly and accurately by using a program of a host computer without a homepage manufactured by each company. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(20) controls a comprehensive operation to be operated by a host computer. A database(21) receiving or outputting new data by controlling of the control unit(20) and displaying stored data through a screen in need is connected to the control unit(20). An information database(211) receiving or outputting new data by controlling of the control unit(20) and displaying stored data through a screen in need is connected to the control unit(20). A key button unit(22) and a display unit(23) input and display data in the control unit(20). A transmission unit(24) transmits data stored in the database(21, 211) from the host computer to a plurality user computers(11) by controlling of the control unit(20) through the internet. A receiving unit(25) receives data transmitted from the user computer(11) through the internet. If the user computer(11) modifies or deletes the contents of a commodity on condition that a modifying mode is set, the receiving unit(25) is electrically connected to a data converting unit(26) for rendering the changed data to be received in the receiving unit(25) through the data converting unit(26). A storing unit(27) stores IDs and secreted numbers of each company and users.
