PURPOSE: A method and system for diagnosing and estimating the performance of a homepage is provided to easily correct or complement the homepage by diagnosing and estimating an error, a problem and certain information to be on the homepage. CONSTITUTION: It is selected whether a homepage is manually estimated through a diagnosing unit or the homepage is automatically estimated through a diagnosing unit(S20). If the homepage is manually estimated through the diagnosing unit, it is manually connected with a manual diagnosing and estimating site of a diagnosing and estimating server(S30). A user selects each diagnosing unit for manually diagnosing and estimating the homepage(S40). It is selected whether a detailed diagnosis and estimation is performed(S50). If the homepage is automatically estimated through the diagnosing unit(S20) and the detailed diagnosis and estimation is performed(S50), it is automatically connected with the diagnosing and estimating site(S60). The homepage is automatically diagnosed and estimated(S70). A diagnosed result is outputted through an output system(S80). A database is accumulated for estimating the homepage, and a performance and/or efficiency are calculated through the accumulated database(S90).
