PURPOSE: A multi domain liquid crystal cell fabrication method is provided to acquire a multi domain liquid crystal cell with simple process based on the alignment division of a unit pixel and reduce the error of mask arrangement caused by the gap adjustment between a mask and a substrate. CONSTITUTION: The light irradiated towards the first transmissive part(64a) is absorbed in the first domain(alpha) of an alignment layer(62) on a substrate(61) with irradiation angle of theta in the arrow direction(x). The light irradiated towards the second transmissive part(64b) is absorbed in the second domain(beta) of the alignment layer(62) on the substrate(61) with irradiation angel of negative theta in the arrow direction(y). Therefore, the alignment division of unit cell makes it easy to simplify the multi domain liquid crystal cell fabrication method because the inclined irradiation of two ways is performed by one of irradiation. The irradiation angle is adjusted variously according to the variation of the interval between the first and the second surfaces of a mask. The viewing angle is compensated between adjacent domains because the pre-tilt angle of the respective domains in the substrate is largely changed according to the irradiation angel.
