PURPOSE: An apparatus for connecting access signals in a voice switching system is provided to execute transfer service to an extension subscriber in case that an incoming signal detected from a trunk line is a DTMF(Dual Tone Multi Frequency) signal and to transfer the signal to a facsimile in case that it is a facsimile access signal. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for connecting access signals in a voice switching system consists of a trunk line access part(120), a tone detection part(130), a switching part(140), a subscriber line access part(150), an information message output part(160) and a CPU(110). The trunk line access part(120) executes an access function with a trunk line terminated to the voice switching system. The tone detection part(130) detects the type of a signal transmitted from the trunk line connected to the trunk line access part(120). The switching part(140) selects the access of a line corresponding to the signal type detected from the tone detection part(130). The subscriber line access part(150) connects the signal to the line corresponding to the signal type. The information message output part(160), in case that the type of the signal is a DTMF signal for generic telephone communication, sends an information message to the trunk line. The CPU(110) controls the operation of the switching part(140) according to the signal type detected from the tone detection part(130). Also the CPU(110) controls signal flow to the subscriber line access part(150).
