APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PROCESSING FUNNEL FOR CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: A funnel processing apparatus is provided to be capable of fabricating a flareless necked funnel of a high quality, improving productivity of the flareles necked funnel, and fabricating a flare necked funnel as occasion demands. CONSTITUTION: A supply unit(20) supplies a flare necked funnel(10) to a processing position and discharges a processed flareless necked funnel(14). The supply unit(20) consists of a roller conveyer, which is disposed on a frame(22) and has a plurality of rollers spaced apart uniformly and driven by a motor(26). A lifting unit(50) is installed on the supply unit(20) and elevates the flare necked funnel(10) passing through an alignment unit(30). A cutting unit(70) partially cuts a flare neck(12) of the flare necked funnel(10) and is installed at one side of a base plate(60). The base plate(60) is installed at the frame(22) of the supply unit(20) so as to be placed on the lifting unit(50).
