PURPOSE: An urgent recovery apparatus of a digital data input/output processing system is provided to operate a backup system by using a DDC(Digital Data Converter) directly connected to a digital data equipment, when an error is generated in a system. CONSTITUTION: A master DDC(3002) is connected to a control system on line, and processes an input signal of a digital data equipment(3004) to transmit the processed input signal to an SCC(Supervisory Control Computer,3001). The master DCC(3002) controls the digital data equipment(3004) according to a direction of the SCC(3001). A slave DDC(3003) monitors whether the master DDC(3002) is abnormal, and inputs a final output signal of the master DDC(3002) at regular periods, when the master DDC(3002) is normal. If the master DDC(3002) is abnormal, the slave DDC(3003) is connected to the control system on line, and performs a function of the master DDC(3002) on behalf of the master DDC(3002) by using a stored output signal. Monitoring communication lines(3007,3008) are connected to digital input/output ports(3005,3006) of the master DDC(3002) and digital input/output ports(3006,3005) of the slave DDC(3003) on the cross. The monitoring communication lines(3007,3008) exchange monitoring signals and data.
