APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY RESPONDING TO WIRED PHONE CALL

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for automatically responding to a wired phone call is provided to transmit a voice message to an e-mail address or a mobile terminal by requesting a caller to leave the voice message on the web for a wired phone call in a called subscriber's absence. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically responding to a wired phone call consists of a web server(1), a database server(2), a communication server(3), a TTS(Text To Speech) server(4), a file server(5), a mail server(6) and a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) server(7). The web server(1) is provided for communication with subscribers who use this system. The database server(2) classifies and stores the information and messages of the subscribers joined through the web server(1) by subscribers. The communication server(3) automatically receives the phone calls connected to a PSTN and automatically transmits recorded contents to the PSTN. The TTS server(4) converts text data into voice data. The file server(5) stores callers' voice messages. The mail server(6) forwards the voice messages by voice mail through Internet using the mail addresses stored in the database server. The WAP server(7) provides short message service.
