METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PAVEMENT BLOCK USING WASTE VINYL AND SAND

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing pavement blocks using waste vinyl and sand is provided to form various shaped pavement blocks according to shapes of molds, safely use waste sands of a foundry containing sodium silicate and simplify the process by uniformly mixing the gel state of waste vinyl and waste sands of a foundry in a ratio of 7:3 after transferring waste vinyl with a screw type rotation device and heating to a temperature of 210 to 240 deg.C at the same time so that the heated waste vinyl is made into the gel state. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing pavement blocks comprises the processes of melting the waste vinyl into the gel state by heating the waste vinyl to a temperature of 210 to 240 deg.C as passing waste vinyl through screw type devices and a transferring tube on outer side of which a heater is installed; injecting the mixed materials into a mold after uniformly mixing the melted waste vinyl with waste sand in a mixer in a ratio of 7:3; and forming a mold by cooling the mixed materials of the injected waste vinyl and waste sand with a cooler.
