摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling an HDLC(High level Data Link Control) relay node are provided to make a node, keeping an active state during a time required for the execution of a transfer, carry out only the transmission of data so that all the messages stored in a buffer can be outputted and to make a node, keeping a standby state, carry out only the receiving of messages so that the loss of HDLC messages can be prevented. CONSTITUTION: An active generation part(134a) determines the active authority of nodes according to a signal(NODE_FAIL) supplied from an operation determination part(134d) and a signal(XNODE_ACT) supplied from the other side's node. A transfer report part(134b) outputs signals(ADRX_ENABLE,AURX_ENABLE) to activate a DRX interface unit and a URX interface unit to an operation control part(134f) according to the detection of signals(TX_START,RX_START) to notify transmitting and receiving buffer sides whether messages to be stored exist. An operation detection part(134c) outputs signals(TX_FAIL,RX_FAIL) to notify the operation determination part(134d) of transfer completion in case that the signals(TX_EMPTY,RX_EMPTY) of the transmitting and receiving buffers indicates that there is no stored message. The operation determination part(134d) receives the signals(TX_FAIL,RX_FAIL) and outputs a determination signal(NODE_FAIL) to the active generation part(134a). A transfer preparation part(134e), detecting transfer preparation signals(XRF_PREPARE,XTX_PREPARE) being supplied from the active node, outputs signals(SDRX_ENABLE,SURX_ENABLE) to the transmitting and receiving buffers. An operation control part(134f) generates control signals for DTX/DRX interface units and UTX/URX interface units. Also the operation control part(134f) outputs signals to control a node control block using the signals(ADRX_ENABLE,AURX_ENABLE) inputted from the transfer report part(134b) for the active node and the signals(SDRX_ENABLE,SURX_ENABLE) inputted from the transfer preparation part(134e) for the standby node.
