PURPOSE: A magnet socket connects a wheel nut though whatever shape has by using the direction of the line of magnetic force. CONSTITUTION: A magnet socket comprises a magnetic body protecting resin material(32), magnetic substances(30) and a magnetization shielding holder(38). The magnetic body protecting resin material(32) contains the magnetic substances(30) being layered. The magnetization shielding holder(38) assembled in the magnetic body protecting resin material(32) has permanent magnetic substance(36) mounted therein. Thus, a wheel nut inserted into the socket(20) prevents the magnetization of the front end portion of a magnet socket(20) of a nut runner. Further, a holding force is improved by the decrease of a circumferential magnetic force and the increase of an axial magnetic force.
