PURPOSE: A touch panel is provided to reduce a linear gradient of equivalent potentiality corresponded to each electrode by connecting an extension unit wiring to a predetermined position of the electrode. CONSTITUTION: An electrode is formed in a plate(31). An upper plate(32) is installed in an upper part of the plate(31). A flexible printed cable(33) connects the electrode to an external circuit. An X1 electrode(36) and an X2 electrode(39) are formed in the upper part of the plate(31). A Y1 electrode(34) and a Y2 electrode(35) are formed in a lower part of the plate(31). The X1 electrode(36) is electronically connected to a junction unit terminal through an extension unit wiring(37). The Y1 electrode(34) and the Y2 electrode(35) electronically connect to each terminal through extension unit wiring(38a,38b).
