PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for managing a multi-point vehicle using a communication network is provided to reduce a manpower and a cost in transporting by rendering member movers to manage the materials for transporting and to operate cars and to pay a fare in, respectively, using a communication system. CONSTITUTION: A user interface(100) is provided for a plurality of consignors, mediators, freight managers, or container open-air yard managers. Also, another interface(200) is provided for a plurality of member movers. Successively, an interface(300) for a department charging the operation of cars in a managing area, an interface(400) for a department charging the receipt in the managing area, an interface(500) for vehicle drivers, an interface(600) for a department charging the management/account are provided, respectively. A managing server(700) is provided for a transportation chain including a related database. The above interfaces are connected by a LAN card, a modem or an internet environment All networks are connected by an inner communication network, respectively except between the user interface(100) and the server(700), the interface(500) for vehicle drivers and the server(700) and each vehicle driver and the managing area. The server(700) comprises a CPU, a clock, a RAM, a ROM, an operating system, a data storing device and a network interface.
