PURPOSE: A braking distance reducing anti-lock brake system is provided to rapidly stop a vehicle on a rapid braking state when the steering controlling is unable. CONSTITUTION: A braking distance reducing anti-lock brake system comprises a rotation angle detector(30) and an electronic controller(40). The rotation angle detector(30) senses the rotation angle of a steering wheel on stopping a vehicle running. The electronic controller(40) decides if the rotation angle is plus or minus, resets the brake pressure of a front wheel cylinder according to the decided rotation angle, and outputs the signal of the reset brake pressure. Thus, a braking force is applied to a side where a friction coefficient is large, thereby increasing total braking force.
