DIRECT TYPE OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A direct type of liquid crystal display is provided to extract lamp units from a bottom chassis through a slide slot without separating a flexible printed circuit(FPC) connector from a control board and prevent the open of signal lines of the FPC connector caused by physical stress. CONSTITUTION: Lamp units(180) are inserted inside a bottom chassis(160) through plural slide slots, larger than lamp holders(184a,184b), alternately formed in one the other sides of the bottom chassis(160). Flexible printed circuits(FPC)(210) are connected to the respective source printed circuit boards(PCB), bent towards the lower of the bottom chassis(160) along the outside surface of the bottom chassis(160), are connected to a control board. The FPCs(210) are located in the portion where the slide slots(162) aren't formed. When one of lamp gets out of order among the plural lamps(182), it is easy to replace the lamp unit(180) with the matter because the lamp units(180) comprise the plural lamps(182).
