PURPOSE: A characteristic number allotting algorithm using special numbers is provided to make a customer easily remember the customer number by preparing the customer number using well-known zip code. CONSTITUTION: A characteristic number allotting algorithm using special numbers includes a customer number and a management number separated from each other. The customer number consists only on customer recognition elements. The characteristic number allotting algorithm may consist of a region number(31), a telephone exchange number(32) and a telephone exchange number confirming number(32) of a telephone number(30), a sequence number(40), and a preliminary number value(42). The characteristic number allotting algorithm may consist of date numbers, resident registration numbers or others.
