PRODUCTION OF ACTIVE CARBON AND ELECTRIC DOUBLE LAYER CAPACITOR USING SAME

摘要

PURPOSE: A process for preparing active carbon having optimum porous size at low cost and an electric double layer capacitor capable of increasing capacitor volume to be produced by using the same are provided, which are not expensive and have improved productivity. CONSTITUTION: The active carbon is prepared by a process consisting of: mixing active carbon with a liquid whose volume is increased during coagulation; adsorbing the liquid in the active carbon by pressure reduction of the mixture at 100torr; coagulating the absorbent at -1 to -20deg.C; and drying the coagulant at 100 to 200deg.C.
