PURPOSE: Provided are a potato plug seedling and method for growing using the same, which prevent a contagious diseases from spreading and can extend a term of growth by sowing a seed potato on a plug seedbed filling culture and raising seedlings it for a fixed period of time. CONSTITUTION: The potato plug seedling is obtained by sowing a seed potato of about 10-30g on a plug seedbed filling culture and raising seedlings it for a fixed period of time. Bed soil suitable for the potato plug seedling is garden bed soil containing organic matter content of 75-80%, nitrogen of 200ppm, phosphoric acid of 100ppm, potassium of 250ppm, magnesia of 80ppm, calcium of 5000ppm, air permeability of 10-15% and pH of 5.5, and mixture bed soil of the garden bed soil, vermiculite and peat moss in a ratio of 1:1:1.
