PURPOSE: A method for processing a dual node interconnection function in a BLSR(Bi-directional Line Switching Ring) of a synchronous optical transmission unit is provided to embody a DNI(Dual Node Interconnection) in a ring-hub structured BLSR formed using a 2.5G optical transmission unit. CONSTITUTION: If a procedure is requested from an MMI(Man-Machine Interconnection) task(S10), each of an inquiry module(S21), a setup module(S22) and a cancellation module in a provision task(S20) requests the procedure to a DNI task(S30) and transfers each result to the MMI task. The DNI task monitors a DNI channel alarm(S31). The DNI task judges the switching based on the DNI channel alarm(S32). If the switching is required, the DNI task compares the priority of the switching(S33). The DNI task sets up an ADC(Add/Drop Connection) for an HPC(High order Path Connection)(S34). The DNI task calculates an alarm guard time(S35). The DNI task updates a DNI table(S36). The DNI task reports the alarm to the MMI task side(S37). The DNI task registers and/or cancels the DNI table according to a request from the setup module(S22) or the cancellation module(S23,S38) and sets up the HPC ADC(S39).
