PURPOSE: A buffering device reduces an impact acted on a human body by relieving the tension of a safety belt. CONSTITUTION: A slot(1a) of a body(1) is joined with a seat. A cylinder spring(4) is mounted in the body(1). A shaft(3) is passed through the cylinder spring(4). The end of the shaft(3) is joined with a buckle(2). On a rapid stopping, the compressed length of a safety belt is reduced step by step by the operation of a cylinder spring(4) by the compression of the cylinder spring(4) by the end of the shaft(3) and the body(1). Thus, the instant impact tension of a belt is relieved, thereby minimizing the impact acted on a human body.
