METHOD FOR PREPARING ESSENTIAL OIL OF CITRUS JUNOS AND DISTILLED ESSENTIAL OIL OF CITRUS JUNOS

PURPOSE: Provided are a method for preparing an essential oil of citrus junos and a distilled essential oil of citrus junos which is colorless and transparent and has excellent fragrance so that it could be applied to industries of cosmetics and foodstuffs. CONSTITUTION: The essential oil of citrus junos is prepared by: (i) pulverizing the rind of the citrus junos in a pulverizer; and (ii) steam-distilling the pulverized rind of the citrus junos by using steam having a temperature of 110-145 deg.C. The distilled essential oil of citrus junos contains α-pinene, β-myrcene, d-limonene, linalool and β-farnescene as main components.
