PURPOSE: A method for plating cold rolled steel sheet is provided to manufacture electrolytic galvanized iron having beautiful surface and bright color by effectively removing grain refiner, thereby increasing whiteness. CONSTITUTION: The method for plating cold rolled steel sheet comprises the steps of preparing a zinc plating solution to which grain refiner is added, plating step of electroplating the cold rolled steel sheet by dipping cold rolled steel sheet into the zinc plating solution, first cleaning step of cleaning the electroplated cold rolled steel sheet using a mixed aqueous solution for cleaning in which a mixed solution of formate and phosphate is dissolved, second cleaning step of cleaning the first cleaning treated cold rolled steel sheet with pure water.
